Cohons Description Limestone cliff, 25m high, south of Langres, it will bring you to self sufficiency and performance. With
its forties tracks from 4b to 7c-8a, climbers good enough into 5b to
7a will appreciate the quiet place, facing south and shaded by trees. |

Access (see
map) From Langres, go
south, following St Geosmes. At roundabout, go left to Cohons. After
few kilometres, turn right at slag heap. Once you are in Cohons, follow
the signs for Noidant Chatenoy. Around 1km after the end of Cohons village,
the stationery area is just behind the sign with climbing informations.
To respect the area, thanks not to drive up to the wood. Walking, follow
the pah which enters the wood and turn right. The cliff is just there,
few seconds after. Topo of the climbing
area Cohons's topo (8€) could be find at Langres's club, "La Varappe Lingonne", or at the Cohons' Café, "L'Escargotière". A brief description
of the Haute-Marne climbing areas has been
edited in 2005. |

Climbing is a risky sport where knowledge of security technology is compulsory. If you do not feel comfortable, do not commit yourself. Practising with a club allows you to access to self-sufficiency |
